this print measuring about 9cm by 6cm arrived in quite a damaged state; it was ripped and creased. In addition - and for some unknown reason - it had been printed as a negative...

the initial scan...

invert greyscale and flip the image horizontally

repair damaged areas and fill missing background

adjust light levels and this final image was certainly good enough to take reasonably sized printed copies.
